Last Updated: September 28, 2026
This Privacy Notice explains the treatment of your information when you access or use the Wild Dance Rivals video game (the “Game”) owned and offered by Defend Nature Interactive, Inc. (“DNI” “us” or “we”) and your options related to your privacy. This Privacy Notice is governed by the Wild Dance Rivals Terms of Use, and we encourage you to read it carefully. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Notice have the meaning given in the Terms of Use. DNI may provide additional notices about our privacy practices, each of which will be considered to form part of this Privacy Notice. Please note that this Privacy notice does not apply to any websites or platforms not owned or operated by DNI, including games or features provided by third parties that you enjoy through DNI offerings.
By accessing or using the Game in any manner, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with this Privacy Notice, do not access or use the Game.
If you have questions about our privacy practices or would like to make a complaint, please contact humals@defendnature.com.
1. Definition: Personal Data
When we say, “Personal Data,” we mean any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household. Personal Information falls within certain categories, for example:
- Identifiers (e.g., name, email, telephone number, address, username);
- Sensitive information (e.g., government ID, health data, precise geolocation, racial/ethnic origin, religious beliefs, contents of messages when we are not the recipient, information about a known child);
- Legally protected information (e.g., race, citizenship, marital status, sex);
- Employment-related information (e.g., current or past employment);
- Non-public educational information, including information protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. § 1232g, 34 C.F.R. Part 99);
- Biometrics (e.g., DNA, face/voice prints, health data) and audio, electronic, visual, thermal, or olfactory information;
- Commercial history (e.g., products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies);
- Internet or other similar activity (e.g., browsing history; content interactions); and
- Inferences drawn from Personal Data to create a profile about preferences, characteristics, trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, and aptitudes.
Please note that not all information about you is Personal Data. Information that is often exempted from privacy law protection includes publicly available information, aggregated information (meaning data summaries or reports with Personal Data removed), and anonymized information that cannot be linked back to an individual.
2. A Note About Children’s Privacy
The Game is available to registered players (“Player” or “Players”) aged 13 and older, or the minimum age in their country if that is higher. DNI does not knowingly collect any Personal Data from Minors without obtaining consent from the Minor’s Guardian. Users under 18 need permission from a parent or legal guardian. Children under age 13 are strictly prohibited from PLAYING THE GAME.
Minors should always check with a Guardian before sharing information online, and we encourage families to discuss guidelines regarding the online sharing of Personal Data. We encourage Guardians to familiarize themselves with the safety features and controls available on the Game and to monitor their children when they are playing games online. Guardians are solely responsible for monitoring their CHILD’S account and gameplay.
If we become aware that a Minor has registered under an inaccurate age or that a Minor has provided us with Personal Data without Guardian consent, we will delete any Personal Data we have collected, unless we have a legal obligation to keep it and terminate the Minor’s account. If you become aware of any unauthorized submission of information to DNI, please submit a Privacy Request or contact us by email at humals@defendnature.com.
3. Personal Data Collected and Its Use
The Game is designed to collect minimal Personal Data from Players, as detailed in this section. Where Personal Data is collected, DNI does so as reasonable and necessary and only with your consent, with a legitimate interest, or as authorized or required by law. The Game collects identifiers, internet or similar activity, commercial history, device identifiers (including your device’s advertising ID), and crash and performance data.
a. Player Account Registration: You can play as a guest, in which case we create an anonymous account for you. You can also sign in with Google, in which case we receive your name, email address, and profile picture link from Google; with Facebook (when this option is available in the Game), in which case we ask only for your public profile and email address and receive your name, email address, and profile picture; or with an email address and password. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. We store your display name, the username you choose, your avatar or profile picture link, and your Game progress. DNI collects this information with your consent when you register and uses it to authenticate your account, facilitate your gameplay, and communicate with you.
b. Communications from Players: If you contact DNI through our Discord channel, request support (including through the in-Game contact form), provide feedback or complete a survey, whether through email, or other means, DNI will collect your identifiers and any Personal Data you include in those messages. When you voluntarily submit information to DNI that we did not request, you are solely responsible for such information. DNI collects this information with your consent and uses it to respond to your inquiry, provide you with support, and communicate with you.
c. Payments Processed in the Game: In-Game purchases are made through Google Play. DNI does not collect or maintain any payment information and never sees your card details. To deliver what you bought, our servers receive the order ID, product ID, and purchase token from Google Play, and we keep a record of the purchase linked to your account. We may collect commercial history data for our legitimate interest in facilitating your transaction and offering you customer support. BIO is an in-app currency bought through Google Play. Items in the Game have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
d. Gameplay and Use of DNI Contents: When you play the Game, the Game sends gameplay events (for example tutorial steps, battles, and purchases) together with your player ID to Google Analytics for Firebase, Unity Analytics, Immutable Audience (which also receives your display name), and Meta (Facebook) App Events (which also receives purchase values and your device’s advertising ID). For example, the Game may collect technical data about your device (e.g., device model, operating system, and language) and general information about your location, which Google Analytics derives from your IP address. The Game does not collect precise location from your device. DNI collects this information for our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the Player experience.
e. Crash Reports: If the Game crashes, Google Firebase Crashlytics receives a crash report with technical details such as your device model and operating system version. DNI uses this information for our legitimate interest in fixing problems in the Game.
f. Advertising: The Game shows ads (for example rewarded videos, interstitials, and banners) from Google AdMob. Ad networks use your device’s advertising ID to show and measure ads.
g. Session Recording: To find problems in the Game, we use Smartlook to record how Game screens are used (screens, taps, and swipes) in the live Game. The email sign-in, registration, and password screens are hidden from these recordings. The in-Game contact form and the rename screen may appear in these recordings.
h. Notifications: We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to send Game notifications.
In addition to the specific uses described above, DNI might use the Personal Data collected through the Game to (i) protect your privacy and enforce this Privacy Notice; (ii) comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or court order; (iii) monitor your compliance with any of your agreements with DNI; (iv) if we believe it is necessary, to identify, contact or bring legal action against persons or entities who may be causing injury to you, to us, or to others; or (v) fulfill any other purpose to which you consent.
4. Personal Data Disclosures
DNI only discloses Personal Data collected through the Game with your permission or as described in this section:
a. Disclosures to DNI Service Providers: DNI relies on third-party service providers to provide and maintain the Game. Our service providers include data hosting companies, player support vendors, analytics services, fraud prevention vendors, payment processors, and others. Today they are Google (Firebase, AdMob, Google Play, Google Cloud), Meta (Facebook sign-in and App Events), Unity (Unity Analytics), Immutable (Immutable Audience), Smartlook (session recording), and MongoDB (database hosting). The type of information that we share with a service provider will depend on the service that they provide to DNI. Our service providers are subject to contractual agreements that protect your Personal Data, and we require all service providers to maintain confidentiality standards that are commercially reasonable to ensure the security of your Personal Information.
b. Third-Party Features: The Game may contain third-party features like social media interaction tools or in-game advertising provided by DNI’s social media or advertising partners. If you use a third-party feature available in the Game (e.g., liking, sharing, logging in) or if you interact with an ad on the Game, both DNI and that third party may have access to your Personal Data associated with your use of that feature. The third parties offering these features may use cookies and other tracking technologies to access your Personal Information and other data related to your device and use of the Game. You should carefully review the third party’s privacy policy and terms of use.
c. Our Affiliates. We may disclose the Personal Data we collect to our affiliates or subsidiaries. If we do disclose your Personal Data to an affiliate or subsidiary, their use and disclosure of your Personal Data will be subject to this Privacy Notice.
d. Law enforcement, and other governmental agencies, as permitted or required by law.
e. Others, as permitted by applicable law, for example: if we go through a business transition (e.g., merger, acquisition, or sale of a portion of our assets); to comply with a legal requirement or a court order; when we believe it is appropriate in order to take action regarding illegal activities or prevent fraud or harm to any person; to exercise or defend our legal claims; or for any other reason with your consent.
f. Aggregated and Deidentified Information. DNI reserves the right to share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information about any individuals with nonaffiliated entities for marketing, advertising, research, or other purposes, without restriction.
5. Personal Data Retention
DNI retains Personal Data collected through the Game for the minimum period necessary to achieve the purpose of its collection. For example, Player account information is retained while the account is active. When you delete your account, it is scheduled for deletion and deleted after 30 days. After the 30 days, your sign-in account and leaderboard entries are deleted. We keep your purchase records for tax, accounting, and refund purposes. Other Game data linked to the account is marked as deleted and is no longer shown in the Game. If you contact us to request customer support, we will delete your Personal Data after responding to your inquiry. When we no longer have a business need for your Personal Data, we will either delete, de-identify, or anonymize it whenever feasible. Where deletion is not feasible (such as data in our backup archives) we will securely store the data and keep it isolated from further processing until it can be permanently deleted.
- Analytics export: up to 26 months.
- Crash reports: 90 days (Google Firebase Crashlytics).
- Session recordings: 30 days (Smartlook).
6. Player Controls
Players can directly control Personal Data collected through the Game using these methods:
a. Player Account. As a Player, you can update your profile in the Game, or delete your account in the Game: Settings → Delete account. Your account is deleted after 30 days; if you sign in during those 30 days, you can cancel the deletion. Without the app, use our account deletion page at https://niftyhumals.com/delete-account.html or email humals@defendnature.com. If you would like assistance, please contact humals@defendnature.com.
b. Device Settings. You can control the data we collect through cookies and related technologies by adjusting your device settings. You can turn Game notifications off in your device settings.
c. Advertising ID. You can stop all collection of information by an application by uninstalling it. You can also reset your device Ad Id at any time through your device settings, which is designed to allow you to limit the use of information collected about you.
d. Emails. We do not send marketing emails. We email you only to answer your requests.
e. Privacy Requests. If you would like assistance with your account, request information, express concerns, lodge a complaint, or wish to exercise your privacy rights described in Section 9, please submit a request by email to humals@defendnature.com. DNI can only fulfill a request when we have sufficient information to verify that the requester is the person or an authorized representative of the person about whom we have collected Personal Data, and to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to the request. DNI will try to respond within the legally required timelines. If we need more time, we will contact you. Statutory exceptions and limitations may apply.
f. Do Not Track. Do Not Track signals are signals sent through a browser informing us that you do not want to be tracked. Currently, our systems do not recognize browser “do-not-track” requests. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Notice.
7. Where Your Personal Data Is Processed
DNI is based in the United States. Our game servers run on Google Cloud in Singapore, and our database is hosted by MongoDB Atlas on Google Cloud in Singapore. Analytics data is stored by Google, and our analytics export is kept in Google BigQuery in the United States. Our service providers may process data in other countries. When your data is moved from your home country to another country, the laws and rules that protect your Personal Data in the country to which your information is transferred may be different from those of the country where you live. For example, if your information is in the United States, it may be accessed by government authorities under United States law. DNI does not warrant that the Game is appropriate or authorized for use in any other jurisdictions. You are solely responsible for determining whether the Game complies with the laws that apply to you. By allowing us to collect Personal Data about you, you consent to the transfer and processing of your Personal Data as described in this section.
8. Data Security
The Game is designed with reasonable security measures to secure Player Personal Data from accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. The Game uses secure sign-in through Google Firebase Authentication (Google, Facebook, or email) and strong encryption. Data is securely stored with an industry-leading cloud provider. Our security measures are appropriate to the volume, scope, and nature of the Personal Data processed and designed to meet our duty of care with respect to your Personal Data. Please bear in mind that submitting data online is never entirely secure. DNI cannot guarantee the security of the information you submit via the Game while it is in transit, and any such submission is at your own risk. You are responsible for keeping your device access and login information confidential. You are also encouraged to use updated anti-virus and anti-malware software on your devices to avoid security risks.
9. Notice of Privacy Rights
This section provides informational notices pursuant to consumer privacy laws that require companies to inform consumers about their privacy rights. Some of these laws may not apply to you or your access to or use of the Game, in which case these notices are offered as a courtesy. DNI’s obligations under these laws are limited to the extent DNI collects or processes your Personal Data via the Game and are subject to the applicable statutory exceptions and limitations. Please contact humals@defendnature.com if you have any questions.
Depending on where you live, your rights over your Personal Data may include some or all of the following:
a. Right to know. You may have the right to know how DNI collects and processes your Personal Data. We have set the required information in this Privacy Notice. DNI may provide you with additional notices about other ways we process your Personal Data, such as by sending you a notice via the Game, email, or other communication.
b. Right to reasonable expectations. You expect DNI to collect, use, or disclose Personal Data collected through the Game responsibly and not for any other purpose other than as stated at the time of collection. DNI set your expectations in this Privacy Notice, and we collect legally required consent at various stages of our interactions with you. If we collect or use your Personal Data based on your consent, we will also notify you of any changes and will request your further consent as required by law. You may withdraw your consent at any time with reasonable notice by contacting humals@defendnature.com.
c. Right to accuracy, and the right to correct your Personal Data. You can correct or update your Personal Data through your account. If you require assistance, please contact us at humals@defendnature.com and we will update our records to reflect your accurate information.
d. Right to access your Personal Data. You can access your Personal Data through your account. Additionally, DNI will provide you with a copy of your Personal Data upon request, along with details about the types of Personal Data we process, why we process it, and any third parties we work with to collect Personal Data on our behalf. DNI may have one or more legally valid reasons to refuse your request in whole or in part, for example, to protect the rights of other individuals. Certain laws may limit the scope or frequency of requests we must fulfill.
e. Right to deletion. When you delete your account in the Game, it is scheduled for deletion and deleted after 30 days (see Section 6(a)). Additionally, upon your request and when required by law, we will delete your Personal Data from our systems. This right is not absolute, and we may be entitled to retain and process your Personal Data despite your request. If you make this request, we balance certain legal, contractual, and business interests against your right to request the deletion of your Personal Data.
f. Right to data portability. In some cases, we are required to provide your Personal Data to another organization at your request and in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format, so that the other organization can read and use it.
g. No selling or sharing Personal Data. Some jurisdictions entitle consumers to opt out of the sale or sharing of their Personal Data or targeted advertising practices. DNI does not sell your Personal Data or share your Personal Data with third parties for cross-contextual behavioral advertising purposes.
h. Limited use and disclosure of sensitive Personal Data. The Game does not collect sensitive Personal Data, and in no case will DNI use or disclose sensitive Personal Data for the purpose of inferring characteristics about a consumer.
i. Right to non-discrimination. If you reside in a jurisdiction that extends a right to non-discrimination related to the exercise of privacy rights, we will not (i) deny you goods or services, (ii) charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, (iii) provide you a different level or quality of goods or services, (iv) retaliate against you as an employee, applicant for employment, or independent contractor; or (v) suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services, because you exercised your statutory right unless permitted by law.
j. Right to disclosure of certain information. You may have a right to request information about our collection and use of your Personal Data over the past 12 months, such as (i) the categories of Personal Data we have collected about you; (ii) the categories of sources for the Personal Data we have collected about you; (iii) our business purpose for collecting, using, disclosing, or selling that Personal Data, as applicable; and (iv) the categories of third parties with whom we disclose that Personal Data. DNI does not sell or share your Personal Data, but if we did you could request two separate lists stating: (a) sales, identifying the Personal Data categories that each category of recipient purchased; and (b) sharing for a business purpose, identifying the Personal Data categories that each category of recipient obtained. Certain laws may limit the number or frequency of requests we must fulfill.
k. Health Data Rights. The Game does not collect any health data. Some laws entitle consumers to certain details about health data collected about them, including (i) confirmation of whether the entity collects, shares, or sells the consumer’s health data and access that data, including a list of all third parties and affiliates with whom the entity has shared or sold the health data and a method to contact those third parties, (ii) a method to withdraw consent related to use of health data, and (iii) the right to have their health data be deleted.
l. Right to not be subject to automated decision-making and the right to opt out of profiling. DNI does not use automated decision-making or any form of automated processing of Personal Data to evaluate, analyze, or predict your performance, preferences, choices, or behavior.
m. Right to restrict processing. You may have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your Personal Data if (i) the data is inaccurate, (ii) the processing is unlawful, (iii) we no longer need the Personal Data, or (iv) you exercise your right to object. Your right to restrict may be limited to Personal Data that is sensitive in nature, or that is sold or shared for certain purposes.
n. Right to object. You may have the right to request, under certain circumstances and where we are required to do so by law, that we limit our processing of your Personal Data as you request.
o. Right to disclosure of marketing information. If you are a resident of the State of California, California’s Shine the Light Act (Civil Code sections 1798.83-1798.84) entitles California consumers to request certain disclosures regarding Personal Data sharing with affiliates and/or third parties for marketing purposes.
10. Third Party Services
The Game may include links to third-party websites or services (“Third-Party Services”). DNI has no ability to control, and we are not responsible for, the privacy and data collection, use, and disclosure practices of Third-Party Services. Any access to and use of linked Third-Party Services is not governed by this Privacy Notice, but instead is governed by the privacy policies of those third parties. You are encouraged to review and understand the privacy notices of such websites before providing them with any information.
11. Privacy Notice Updates
This Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time at DNI’s discretion. The “last updated” date indicates the date this Privacy Notice was most recently updated. Your access to or use of the Game following an update is your acceptance of those changes. DNI will also collect your consent to these changes to the extent required by applicable law.
